Is communication (or lack thereof) one of your company’s biggest issues? Is there inconsistency on what’s being said to staff, customers and the public? If you asked five different executives a question about your company, would you get five different answers?
If the answer is yes to any or all of these questions, then the ReputationUs Message Unity Training is designed for your organization. Let’s get your entire team singing from the same hymnal!
The :90 minute training session will prepare your company’s leaders to be formally trained to unify your corporate messages across all departments so to be consistent, clear and concise. The session also prepares select spokespersons in anticipation for increased media attention. The training is intended for company executives, board members, HR supervisors and front-line customer service managers.
Participants will be provided relevant, timely messaging about your organization that’s tailored to audiences that the participants may encounter while discussing your company. The Message Unity Training will address how to speak in a unified voice (“sing from the same song page”), address both general and challenging questions, and be prepared to communicate details about the organization.
Participants will be video recorded prior to the session (scheduled separately and conducted via Zoom) in a mock interview setting design to simulate potential encounters with certain audiences (e.g., staff, customers, business community, media, public influencers). During the training session, these recorded interviews will be reviewed by all participants as an exercise to hear the messages delivered in a realistic scenario, while receiving valuable critique from RepUs and other executive participants.
The training session will also involve training on how to:
- Speak succinctly
- Adjust to challenging or unorthodox questions
- Bridge to your company’s key messages
- Attempt to influence what the audience remembers
- Focus on succinctness and word choice
- Avoid “ums,” “ahhs,” “likes,” and “ya knows”
