ReputationUs and Nonprofit Association of Oregon Select Tucker Maxon School as 2022 Nonprofit Reputation Program Recipient
Wind & Oar Boat School also receives pro bono reputation enhancement support in 2022
Portland, OR, December 20, 2021 – Each year, the Nonprofit Association of Oregon (NAO) and ReputationUs (RepUs), a reputation management and crisis mitigation firm, offers one NAO nonprofit member with six-months of pro bono reputation management support (a $14,000 value) through the Nonprofit Reputation Program. The Tucker Maxon School was selected as the recipient of the 2022 Nonprofit Reputation Program. In 2022, RepUs will also support the nonprofit Wind & Oar Boat School in its mission to engage young people through the art, science, and craft of building wooden boats.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Tucker Maxon is an inclusive educational institution which teaches children who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as children with typical hearing, in a co-enrolled, mutually beneficial classroom environment. “Our goal is to help every child reach their full potential in school and in life,” said Glen Gilbert, Tucker Maxon’s executive director.
Through the Program, Tucker Maxon will receive:
- Reputation Assessment. An assessment of the nonprofit’s current reputation internally (e.g., staff, volunteers, families) and externally (e.g., public, media, social).
- Reputation Enhancement Plan. An actionable 2022 reputation enhancement plan.
- Six Months of Support. Reputation management support that includes content development, crisis management, media relations, social media, news releases and message unity training of the nonprofit’s executives.
“We are eager to learn more about Tucker Maxon and how we can help enhance, advance and protect the school’s remarkable reputation it has established since 1947,” said Casey Boggs, chief reputation manager at RepUs. “Similarly, the Wind & Oar Boat School is seeking ways to raise its profile. We are looking forward to partnering them in this endeavor.”
